For those waiting for a funding package

If you don’t have government funding, or if you have applied for a funding package but have not yet received approval, you can still access KinCare’s in-home care services using your own money. No assessment or subsidy is required for our Private Care services and this help arrives immediately. These services may be a good option to help with shopping and other errands so you don’t have to leave the house during the COVID-19 pandemic. We can tailor a plan specifically suited to supporting you during the isolation period.

For carers

Not being able to visit elderly loved ones is difficult. While nothing can replace face-to-face visits, there are lots of ways KinCare can help you support your loved one at this time.

KinCare can reduce some of the stress involved with caring for an elderly parent or friend by stepping in to assist with tasks you might normally do. This is a good option if you find you have limited time while juggling home-schooling and working from home – or if you are an essential health worker and want to minimise health risks for your loved one.

Whether it’s doing the weekly shopping, cleaning around the house or personal care, KinCare’s friendly Home Care Workers are available to help. Our Home Care Workers can also take your loved one to appointments if you have limited availability or live far away.

If your loved one doesn’t have government funding to cover the cost of KinCare’s services, there are services available privately. KinCare can also assist with the application process for the Home Care Package or Commonwealth Home Support Programme. Call KinCare today to talk about what’s involved and your options.

Find out how KinCare can help you or your loved ones remain comfortably at home for as long as possible and maintain your independence when you choose from our vast array of in home aged care services.
