Keeping Mobile & Preventing Falls

Stay strong, mobile and happy

Being confident on your feet will keep you strong and healthy, so you can stay active in your community, and live safely and independently in your own home for longer. Our team of health professionals will ensure your home is safe for you, and help you maintain your health, mobility and strength.

Looking after your health and fitness will ensure you can continue to participate in the activities you enjoy, whether it’s going out with friends or entertaining in your own home. Being able to get around safely will make daily activities less stressful and able to maintain your independence for longer.

Our aim is to keep you fit, active and independent while also ensuring your home is free of hazards that may place you at risk of falls. We take a holistic approach to keeping you mobile by assessing your home for risks, ensuring you are eating correctly and helping you maintain your fitness and strength. Whether it’s conducting annual health checks, identifying and removing risks and hazards around your home, or developing a home exercise plan to improve your strength and balance, our friendly allied health professionals will support you to stay safe, healthy and mobile in your own home.

How it works

Getting to know you is important to us. Your KinCare Customer Care Manager will spend time with you to learn about your interests, understand how you want to maintain your independence, and identify risks and hazards around your home. We will work with you to understand what we can help with, and find suitable team members who you can really trust and feel comfortable with.

Depending on your individual needs, our friendly and experienced Home Care Workers and Allied Health Professionals can visit on a regular basis, or occasionally, several times a week or every now and then. We will tailor our services around what you need.
