Office Roles Application Process

Career opportunities at KinCare

If you’re looking for a career that will make a difference to people’s lives, working at KinCare could be the perfect option for you. With a huge variety of jobs available, there’s never been a better time to move towards a fulfilling career in home care.

Why work with KinCare

Step 1

Find a role to apply for

Visit our Careers page or the SEEK website to see our current job opportunities. When you apply for a vacancy, be sure to include your responses to the role requirements in your resume to improve your chance for success. It usually takes us around one to two weeks to process applications.

Step 2

Initial interaction

The first stage is a phone call with one of our Talent Acquisition Consultants. You’ll receive an overview of KinCare and the role you have applied for before discussing your application in detail. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and find out the next steps in the process.

If you’ve been directly approached for a role, this step is skipped and you’ll have your application reviewed by the management team.

Step 3

Interview stage

Our team will share your application with the management team and if successful, we’ll be in touch to arrange an interview with members of our management team. This is your chance to share clear and specific examples of your skills, knowledge, and experience to truly put your case forward.

We encourage you to ask questions too, as it’s important that you understand the role, the expectations, and KinCare itself. If the role requires it, you may be asked to attend a second interview with other managers or stakeholders within the business.

Step 4

Reference checks

If the management team are happy to proceed, we’ll notify you of the next steps which includes employment reference checks. Your referees should be direct managers, team leaders or supervisors from your current or previous employers, not personal references. Once the reference checks are completed, they are sent to the management team for final approval.

Step 5

Offer of employment

If all goes well, we’ll be in touch straight away to make a formal offer of employment. Once we confirm some details, we’ll organise your offer letter and new starter paperwork which is sent to you electronically.

Step 6

Police and work rights checks

You’ll also be asked to complete new police and work rights checks. Depending on your role, you’ll need to provide some additional compliance documentation in line with company and industry policies.

Step 7

Onboarding

Once all your paperwork is finalised, we can notify our internal departments that you'll be joining us. Also, your new manager will reach out to discuss your onboarding and induction plan. This is another great opportunity to ask any questions you might have. Throughout the process, your Talent Acquisition Consultant is your point of contact should you need anything.
