Services available for special target groups

Care KinCare’s services are available to anyone who requires support at home. This can include older people, people with a disability, people with a medical condition or injury, carers and a variety of other groups.

KinCare aims to provide high quality, reliable services that give clients security and peace of mind. The Way We Care leads us to tailor services to each client. It has also lead us to specially target some services to people with special needs.

KinCare provides a variety of services that have been specially targeted to groups with a wide variety of special needs.  These services are outlined in the table below.  KinCare also pays particular attention to people with special needs in all of its mainstream services.

The Australian Government has defined the following groups as Special Needs Groups for the purposes of the programs that it subsidises:

• Veterans and War Widows
• People Living in Rural and Remote Areas
• People with Social or Financial Disadvantage
• People from an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Background
• People from a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Background

Your health, motor vehicle or occupational health and safety insurance may reimburse you for some services.  Check eligiblity and service offerings with your insurer.
