As the Australian population ages, the prevalence of dementia and Alzheimer's is also rapidly increasing. KinCare is working closely with Alzheimer's' Australia to develop innovative dementia care services that specifically respond to the needs of people with dementia and their carers.
We have developed a number of new dementia care service models including a live-in respite care service for carers of people with dementia. We have also recently successfully implemented a multi-sensory stimulation trial.
