Live the Life You Love

Residents from Canberra and Queanbeyan are invited to attend KinCare's FREE 'Live The Life You Love' Community Forum at Canberra Southern Cross Club Woden, 92 - 96 Corinna Street, Woden on Wednesday 27 July 2011 between 10:00am - 12:00pm.

'Live The Life You Love' Community Forum is designed for people who:

  • are getting older or have loved ones who are ageing;
  • are concerned about how they will manage in the future; or
  • would like to know what services are available and how to access them.

Federal Government subsidised services are available to frail older Australians who choose to remain living independently in the comfort of their own home as an alternative to an aged care facility. The KinCare 'Live The Life You Love' Community Forum will help them know who to turn to, now or in the future.

Participants will discover how six simple steps can lead to better health and wellbeing at any age. Information will be available on how to arrange help in their home with:

  • housekeeping and general cleaning
  • shopping and meal preparation
  • getting out of the house
  • staying connected in their local community
  • caring for relatives and friends.

The invitation is open to older Australians and their families. To reserve a place, please phone Rosa at KinCare on 1300 733 510 or email us at events@kincare.com.au.
