Do I need experience? Experience is not essential. Kincare has the resources to train new employees. We also have opportunities for our employees to gain formal nationally recognised qualifications such as the Certificate 3 in Home and Community Care or Aged Care. This can be provided at no cost to eligible employees. |

Does KinCare provide training? Yes, you will receive formal orientation training and ongoing training every three months. You will be paid to attend compulsory training sessions. Training is provided at a variety of times and locations for the convenience of our employees. We encourage our staff to do further formal training and nationally recognised qualifications. Traineeships are availalbe for eligible employees. |

Will I have to wear a uniform? Yes, KinCare will supply you a uniform and photo ID badge. You must wear the uniform and ID badge at all times while at work unless instructed otherwise by your manager. |

If I receive a job with KinCare will I be an employee, contractor, or agent of KinCare? All of KinCare's personnel are employees and receive all of their legal entitlements and protections as employees. We will also provide you support with ongoing training and professional development. Organisations providing in-home care services have a variety of arrangements for engaging personnel. It is very important to understand exactly what type of arrangements are being proposed to ensure you have the protections you expect. KinCare does not have a contractor or agency relationship with its personnel. |

Is this a 9am to 5pm job? No, Kincare provides a flexible work environment. Our employees are able to reach an agreement with us regarding their working hours. For example: if you’re only available during school hours then we will only roster you during these times; if you can only work selected days then we can accommodate your needs. However, you must be availalbe for work at the times you agree with us. |

Do I need a car? Yes, our employees travel from one client to the next. We provide services to our clients in their homes. Your car must be comprehensively insured, registered and road worthy. |

Do I need to have a mobile phone? Yes, you must carry your own functioning mobile phone whilst at work. |

Do I need to provide supplies and consumables? KinCare will provide the supplies and consumables you need to provide services safely. |
