Respite services enable carers to take a meaningful break.
Many respite services can provide monitoring and social support as well as a variety of other service types normally provided by the carer during the period they are having a break.
In private services you can choose exactly what other services you want during the respite service. Some government subsidised services have limitations depending on the guidelines of the specific program.
