Training

All KinCare staff are required to make a commitment to ongoing training and professional development. Training and development goals are set and reviewed with your manager. Much of KinCare’s training is conducted by National College Australia. Traineeships, are available to eligible applicants.  A variety of other opportunities are also made available. Support

KinCare has effective systems in place to ensure you are supported in your job.
Orientation and ongoing training is provided to all staff.
Traineeships are available to eligible staff.
You will commence working with another worker to receive one-to-one training and become comfortable with the requirements of your job.
One-to-one support is available from a program manager by phone at any time.
One-to-one training is available from a program manager for any tasks or equipment you are unfamiliar with.
Regular staff meetings and training events are held in each region to enable you to interact with other staff and undertake professional development.
KinCare's Human Resources Manager is available to provide support.
A Registered Nurse is available and can be contacted 24 hours per day 365 days per year in case of emergency or if you need assistance.
