SYDNEY SEPTEMBER, 22 2008 – In Home Care Specialists, KinCare have agreed to purchase Wesley Noakes Nursing Services.  Wesley Noakes currently provide assistance to communities in Northern Sydney and the Central Coast.  The purchase will be effective Thursday 23 October 2008.

The purchase of Wesley Noakes Nursing Services is a positive move for KinCare and will bring benefits to clients and staff of both organisations.  Wesley Noakes Nursing Services represents a good strategic fit for KinCare, with staff and clients in the same geographic location and will strengthen KinCare’s ability to deliver services in Northern Sydney.

With a diverse portfolio of services Wesley Mission wanted to ensure all clients receive the best possible care and support in response to their needs.  The transaction will provide clients the quality care they require from a service provider specialising in in-home care.

Employment offers will be made to all Wesley Noakes Nursing Services field service employees and office employees will be offered the opportunity to apply for opportunities within Wesley Mission, accept a redundancy package, or accept a similar position with KinCare.

The acquisition will benefit KinCare’s vision for better health and wellbeing and its practical application will be to extend this vision to an increased number of clients.
